Terms of Service.

scooter.exchange is a discovery platform — we aggregate public listings (eBay), public rental fleet positions (GBFS), public business listings (Google Places), and our own user-submitted listings into a unified search and swipe interface.

We are not a marketplace operator. We do not hold inventory, take payment, or escrow funds. Transactions happen between you and the seller / rental operator on their platform.

• You confirm the bike is yours to sell.
• Photos must be of the actual bike, not stock images.
• Asking price must reflect what you'd actually accept.
• We manually review every listing within 24 hours; we may reject listings that look fraudulent, are stolen-vehicle red flags, or violate eBay/Craigslist-style content standards.
• Listings auto-expire after 60 days. You can renew by re-submitting.
• By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your listing photos and copy on this site and in social previews. The license ends when the listing is removed.

• We forward your message to the seller via email.
• We do not guarantee a response.
• We do not screen sellers' identities, so do basic due diligence: meet in public, verify VIN, see ID for big-ticket trades, etc.
• Don't wire money before seeing the bike in person.

We link out to operator apps (Lime, Bird, Citi Bike, etc.). The rental terms, pricing, insurance, and helmet rules are governed by the operator. We don't take a cut.

Some external links earn us commissions (eBay Partner Network, in-store rental partners). This never changes editorial picks or rankings. Disclosed in the site footer.

Inventory, prices, and rental positions are aggregated from third-party sources and may be stale, inaccurate, or wrong. Always verify on the source platform before you act. We are not liable for losses from acting on outdated data.

We are not a party to any transaction between you and a seller, rental operator, or other user.

You agree not to:

• Submit listings for stolen vehicles or vehicles you don't own.
• Use the contact-seller flow to spam, harass, or send unrelated commercial offers.
• Scrape or copy our aggregated data for commercial reuse without permission.
• Interfere with the site's operation.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the home page for 30 days. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in New York County, NY.
